Robert Marshall, a longtime resident of San Augustine County, passed away at the age of 58 years, 9 months, and 21 days, at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2019, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel located at 316 West Columbia Street, with Charles Sharp officiating, A private family burial will follow in the Magnolia Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be from the hour of 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel on Friday prior to the funeral.
Robert was born to the late Eva Lois (Vestal) Marshall and James L. Marshall on October 31, 1960, in San Augustine County, Texas. He had retired from the Deep East Texas Electric Cooperative as an electric underground lineman. He was a longtime member of the Redland Masonic Lodge Chapter #3 in San Augustine.
Those left to cherish his memory include, his loving daughter, Candace Sharp and her husband, Adam of San Augustine; his loving son, Weston Marshall and his wife, Jodi of San Augustine; grandchildren, Taylor Brooke Sharp of San Augustine, John Easton Marshall of San Augustine, and Quinn Adam Grant of Pineland; his loving sister, Patsy Murray of San Augustine; beloved brothers, Jack Marshall and his wife, Judy of Bronson; Frank Marshall and Kathy Brittain of Bronson and Roland (Hootie) Marshall and his wife, Roxanne, along with a special friend, Nancy Husmann of Iowa, and many nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, James and Eva Lois Marshall, brother, Howard Marshall, and a beloved grandson, Taytum Sharp.
Pallbearers will include, Steve Farris, Brent Murray, Brian Woods, Tommy Stansberry, Curtis Bridges, and Casey Sowell.
