Obituary of Joe (Jody) Ralph Nichols

Graveside Services for Joe (Jody) Ralph Nichols, age 69, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2019, in the Thomas Cemetery located off highway 21 west in San Augustine County, Texas.  He passed from this life on Monday, May 27, 2019. 

He was born to the late Addie Lou (Bogard) Nichols and James C. Nichols on July 24, 1949, in Nacogdoches, Texas.  He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era and was a graduate of West Point Military Academy.

Those left to cherish memory include, his daughter, Jennifer Nichols Roossien and her husband, Pete of Austin; his grandsons, Ethan James Roossien and Connor Dennis Roossien, both of Austin; brother, Jack B. Nichols and his wife, Sandra of San Augustine; his nieces, Josie B. Seale and Ginger Nichols, both of San Augustine. 

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Addie Lou and James C. Nichols.
