Obituary of Julia Ann Graham

Julia Ann LaCroix Graham, 88, of Houston, Texas, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019, in Houston.

Ms. Graham was born February 25, 1931, in Ryderwood, Washington, to parents Collins Hamilton LaCroix Sr. and Frances Margaret (Harvey) LaCroix. As a toddler, Julia moved with her family to Lufkin, Texas, where she grew up. After being married and having children, she moved to Colleyville, Texas, and later to Houston, where she resided for the remainder of her life. She had worked for many years as a bookkeeper and real estate broker prior to retirement.

She loved animals, especially horses and dogs, especially her dogs Snoopy and Uno. Ms. Graham also enjoyed horseback riding, bowling, golf, water skiing, dancing and many other activities. She was the best mother ever! Julia loved her children more than anything in the world and was always there for them.

Her survivors include her children, Gary L. Graham and wife Juli of LaPorte, Texas, Cathy A. Swim and husband mark of Tomball, Texas, and Robert G. Graham and wife Sonya of Willis, Texas; grandchildren, Chad, Lee, Kelly, Blakeley, Kellie, and Lauren; and great-grandchildren, Kirsten, Brianna, Harper, Halo, Sydney, Mackenzie, Mason, Cade, and Colton. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, and brother.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Macune Cemetery, located off Hwy. 147 in San Augustine County, Texas.

Her family is suggesting that memorial donations may be offered to Alzheimer’s Association alz.org.

Services are under the direction of Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas.
