Obituary of Jenettie Stotts

Funeral Services for Jenettie Stotts, age 88, of the Denning Community in San Augustine County, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2019, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with Bro. Frank Holrath officiating, with burial following in the Thomas Cemetery in San Augustine.  Visitation will be held Thursday evening, May 2, 2019, from the hours of 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wyman Roberts.

Jenettie was born to the late Una (Sanders) Jessup and James Sharp Jessup on December 10, 1930, in San Augustine County, Texas, and passed from this life Tuesday evening, April 30, 2019, in San Augustine.  She was married to the late Bill Stotts and was a loving homemaker, a beloved mother, and grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She was a longtime member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. 

Those who are left to cherish her memory include, her beloved daughter, Ann Nix and her husband, David of San Augustine; her beloved sisters, Eunice Jessup of San Augustine, and Johnnie Durnasmil of San Augustine; her loving grandchildren, Krystal Nix, David Nix and his wife, Tiffany and Rachel Nix, Judie Jackson and Suzie Jackson; her beloved great-grandchildren, Eaden Brown, Zander Nix, Ella Brown, Emma Brown and Trey Nix.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents, James, and Una Jessup; her beloved husband, Bill Stotts and her beloved siblings, Wilma Dyes, Lamar Jessup, Jack Jessup, Marie Gibson and Glen Ray Jessup.
