Obituary of Wade Allen Pahal

Funeral Services for Wade Allen Pahal, age 71, of San Augustine, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2019, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel in San Augustine, with Dr. John Greene officiating of the Harmony Hill Baptist Church in Lufkin, with burial following in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Lufkin.  Visitation will be from the hours of 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2019,  at the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, located at 316 West Columbia Street in San Augustine. 

Wade was born July 17, 1947, in Lufkin, Texas to the late Lois Inez (Harrison) Pahal and Wade Pahal.  He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He was an auto repairman owning his own shop in San Augustine doing collision work and refinding on automobiles for several years. He enjoyed being a member of the International Harvester Collectors Club Chapter #31 located in Louisiana and was of the Baptist faith is a member of the Harmony Hill Baptist Church in Lufkin.

Those who are left to cherish his memory include,  his beloved wife, Melba Pahal of San Augustine; son, Shawn Pahal of Lufkin and daughter, Mindy Hamilton and her husband, Brandon of Lufkin; his beloved grandchildren, Chris Pahal, Shelby James, Lance Hamilton, Haley Pahal and Bradley Hamilton; his great-grandchildren, Asher, Spencer and Harper Pahal and Leo James, and a brother, Eddie Pahal of Lufkin. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Wade Pahal; his beloved first wife, Frances Pahal, and brother, Melvin Pahal.

Pallbearers will include, Lance Hamilton, Richard James, Brandon Hamilton, Eddie Pahal and Bo Scarborough.  Honorary Pallbearers will include Myron Byrd, Chris Pahal and Dickie Gilcrease.
