Obituary of Kimberly Ann (Woods) Tarver

Kimberly Ann (Woods) Tarver, age 50, of San Augustine, passed from this life surrounded by her family on Tuesday, January 29, 2019,  near Etoile after a very courageous battle with cancer.  Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2019, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jim Moss officiating.  Interment will follow in the Liberty Hill Memorial Gardens in San Augustine County.  Visitation will be from the hours of 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2019,  at Wyman Roberts.

Kim was born to Mary Ann Woods-Hill and the late Jimmy Woods on May 11, 1968, in Nacogdoches.  She was a graduate of San Augustine High School, and was employed as a child advocate for children social services for some years and was of the Baptist faith.

Those left to cherish her memory include, son, Matthew Tarver and his wife, Brandee of Etoile; daughters, Kady Hanzel and her husband, Bo of Chireno and Allie Jo Tarver of Chireno; her beloved mother, Mary Ann Hill and her husband, Paul of San Augustine County; her sisters, Anna Sharp and her husband, John of San Augustine, and Susie Woods of San Augustine; step-children, Tom Tarver of San Augustine and Joe Tarver of Huntsville; her beloved grandchildren, Gage Williams; Ace Williams; Reed Tarver and Waylon Hanzel.

She is preceded in death by her beloved father, Jimmy Woods.
