Dorothy Lee Woodruff, age 66, passed from this life on earth on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at

Dorothy married the love of her life, John Stephen Woodruff and lived in
She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and loved to be out in nature observing God’s creation. She attended the Living Church of God in
An elder sister, Rosa Louise; a niece, Priscilla Sharpton, and her parents, “Jr” and Audrey Drawhorn, preceded her in death.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, John; sister Naomi, Sharpton, sister Glenda Walker, sister Gail Edgar and husband Raymond, sister Eva Weeks and husband James; sister Juanita Ward and Ronnie; several nieces and nephews; beloved aunts and uncles, and cousins.
Her church family held a memorial service on December 15, 2018 in
Crematory services are under the direction of Wyman Roberts Funeral Home.
A special thank you for all the prayers and to Dr. Kanaan (oncologist) and his staff; Cathryn Brown, PA; Dr. Lilit Sargsyan, Dr. Jung, nurse Neal, and other medical staff of Memorial Hermann and St. Lukes Hospitals as well as the team of Harbor Hospice (namely Chioma) who provided excellent care for our sister, friend, neighbor and wife.
