Obituary of Berniece Cunningham

Funeral Services for Berniece Cunningham, age 80, of the Magnolia Springs Community in San Augustine County, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel in San Augustine, with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating.  Burial will be in the Magnolia Springs Cemetery in San Augustine County.   She passed from this life on Thursday evening, October 11, 2018, in Lufkin.

Berniece was born to the late Hattie E. (Williams) Robinson and Ben W. Robinson on April 21, 1938, in San Augustine County.  She married the love of her life, James Cunningham on December 6, 1961 celebrating almost 57 years together.  She was a wonderful homemaker, and beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.  She dearly loved and enjoyed her family.  She was a member of the Rosevine Church of God.

Those to whom she is survived by include, her loving husband, James Cunningham of Bronson; her loving daughter, Ann Perry and her husband, David of Nacogdoches; her beloved sons, Tim Cunningham and his wife, Karen of Bronson and Jimmy Cunningham and his wife, Melinda of Warren; Brother, David Ray Robinson of Lufkin and Sister, Barbara Ann Powell of Bronson; her loving grandchildren, Josh Perry, Lance Perry, Mark Cunningham, Kourtney Tidwell, and Wesley Cunningham, along with numerous, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hattie and Ben Robinson and brothers, Lavelle Robinson and James "Chick" Arron Robinson.

Serving as pallbearers will include, Mark Cunningham, Josh Perry, Lance Perry, Brent Murray, Chucky "Bennie" Robinson and Barry Robinson.  Honorary pallbearers will include, Wesley Cunningham and David Perry
